Statement unfortunate withdrawal Team WRT

With 2 cars entered since several months in the Dunlop 24H Dubai 2013, the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT has worked hard to secure a high-level drivers’ line-up in order to fight for the top rankings. Unfortunately, despite the presence of the cars and all the equipment in Dubai and a staff about to board the plane for the Middle East, the Team Principal of the Belgian squad, Vincent Vosse, had to take the difficult decision of cancelling the complete program. Here is his reaction: “We have tried everything to finalize the preparation of this nice event. Regrettably we have not managed to put everything together in a way like we use to do with WRT. It was becoming quite obvious for us that it was more in our interest to cancel our participation. Nevertheless I am sure that we will come back in the near future. I have raced here a few years ago for the Creventic major event and I know how pleasant this race is. I want to participate in this major event as a Team Principal with all the WRT staff. ”
