The battle of 24 hours has begun!
The eighth edition of the Dunlop 24H DUBAI is on the go. Almost one hour ago the official green flag waved, which was the signal for all participating teams to speed up. Yesterday Dutch driver Jeroen Bleekemolen put the Team Abu Dhabi by Black Falcon Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 with starting number 1 on pole position with a fastest lap time of 1:59.104 minutes.At the moment the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 is in first position #1 with driver Jeroen Bleekemolen behind the steering wheel, in second position #15 Craft Racing AMR in their Aston Martin Vantage GT3 with Darren Turner driving and third position #24 with driver Claudia Hürtgen in the BMW Z4 GT3 of Saudi Falcons Team Schubert 2.
This afternoon at 13:00 hours the grid girls made their walk trough the pit lane. All the teams were settled up in the pit lane to show their stunning cars and to pose with the grid girls. The girls were all neatly dressed up and after the parade through the pit, it was time for the real action. The girls took their position on the start grid and the cars entered the circuit. After two laps of warming up the tires, the signal was taken. Roaring engines sound all through the Dubai Autodrome.
