Last Friday, NASCAR teamowner Michael Waltrip (MWR Racing) announced he will be attending the Dunlop 24h Dubai next week, together with Marcos Ambrose, Rui Auguas, Niki Cadei and Rob Kauffmann. As Rob Kauffmann is the co-owner of both MWR Racing and AF Corse, this deal was easily made. Michael Waltrip: "For a NASCAR-driver, the Daytona 500 is the summit, but it's of course very cool to travel all the way to the other side of the world to drive a Ferrari. I never would've thought to be part of such a unique experience". The 46-year old teamcaptain still drives part-time in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, and the Australian Marcos Ambrose is no rookie there. He was the next to best non-American pilot last season, just after Pablo Montoya. This entry means a huge boost to the organisation of the Dunlop 24h Dubai
